Blackacre is a B-Corp certified luxury jewellery house
Becoming a B-Corp in 2024 was a major milestone for us.
With only a handful of jewellery brands worldwide holding the certification, we form part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact. We are now officially known as ‘b-corp jewellery designers’.
Rather than reaching a fixed state, we saw the unrivalled scrutiny of our operations (over a period of 1.5 years) as a means of pushing us to continually progress.
Achieving an impact assessment score of 99.3, within an industry that has been notoriously challenging is an achievement we are immensely proud of.

The B-Corp Impact Assessment scutinises every facet of a business
Through a rigorous assessment, that can span months or years (known as the "impact assessment"), every facet of a business is scrutinised to assess its operations and deem whether it meets the exceptionally high standards of social and environmental impact necessary to be a cause for change.
Companies are required to submit and provide access to data and information that proves their commitment to more progressive approaches that benefit all.

After 1.5 years of assessment and scrutiny we were delighted to achieve a B Impact Assessment score of 99.3. This is an outstanding result we are immensely proud of and testament to our constant desire to progress.
In a world of traditional luxury, often held behind closed doors and an air of mystery, few are willing to open their doors.
Whilst we remain closely guarded around the cherished experience we offer, and those whom we are fortunate enough to work with, our certification provides an insight into the levels of care with which we operate, within our precious world.
