Every collection piece features one unique and stand out gem that is set amongst a sea of others. The stand out gem is symbolic of the small proportion of people with the devotion and dedication required to be truly exceptional in their given field. Whether that be as an entrepreneur, sportsperson, chef, artist, actor or lawyer the collection is a mark for the achievers.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, we conducted a series of interviews with inspirational women. Each of these women have succeeded in their industries, made a mark and shown what is achievable when you set your mind to something you believe in.
The first in the series is with former Victoria's Secret model turned entrepreneur, Megan Williams.
The collection is formed on a core base of magnificent coloured gems that have been independently sourced by our team from artisanal mines across the world.
We continue to seek to break new boundaries in a new era of responsible luxury and our support of artisanal mining that supports local communities and environments is at the heart of this. The Blackacre collection in particular is proud to support an artisanal mining initiative which introduces women into gemstone grading and dealing, a skill that is still predominantly male in the country.
